At Lafon’s, we share this legacy to honor the man who started it all and to remind our guests and community of the values that continue to guide everything we do today.


Alvin G. Lafon was a man who built his life on hard work, strong values, and a deep love for his family and community. His passing in January of 2021 left a space that can never truly be filled, but his legacy continues to shine brightly in the lives he touched and the businesses he built.


As the proud founder and owner of Lafon’s Fireworks and Lafon’s RV Parks, Alvin created more than places of business—he created moments. From lighting up the skies with celebration to providing a welcoming home for travelers and families, he poured his heart into everything he did.


Alvin believed in doing things the right way—treating people with respect, lending a helping hand, and building something meaningful that would last beyond him. His dedication and vision turned his businesses into pillars of the Princeton community, where guests weren’t just customers—they were treated like family.


Those who knew Alvin will remember his strong spirit, his generosity, and the way he made people feel valued. His legacy lives on in every smiling face at the RV park, every family gathering under fireworks, and every memory made because of what he built.


Though he is deeply missed, Alvin G. Lafon’s life is a testament to what it means to leave a lasting mark—not just through success, but through kindness, integrity, and love.
